About the project
Solved Game is an advanced football analysis web app developed by Solved Game Company. It uses video footage of football games to track players and accurately determine metrics like position, speed, area control, and pass values, among others. I have been involved with the project since its inception and was the lead designer for its branding and app design.
For the branding part of the project, see Solved Game Company project in GRAPHIC DESIGN / BRANDING subpage.
App design
With the logo, colors, and typography defined, the next step was designing the app itself. First, I created a login screen and a landing page where the user can choose their next action.

Here, users enter their credentials to access the app. Registration must be completed on the Solved Game Company’s official site, and access is provided by the app administrators.

Upload / Download: Users can upload new game footage or download previously uploaded footage.

Editor: Users can select a specific part of the currently loaded game they want to analyze.

Whiteboard: Users can analyze advanced metrics of a selected part of the game and run various simulations.

This screen opens after selecting the Upload / Download option on the landing page. Here, users can upload game footage they wish to perform an advanced analysis on. If users have previously uploaded game footage, they can access it by clicking on Show Available Games below. Users can access any of the other options from the top navigation.

Users can choose a game they wish to analyze from the list of uploaded game footage. They can also delete the footage or download and save it locally.

After choosing game footage, an editor screen opens. Here, users can choose a specific situation from the game they wish to analyze. On the right side, they can see the current positions of all players in the game, as well as the area each team has under its control.

Users can select a specific team (e.g., Home) and choose the Show Advanced Info option, which provides additional information such as pitch control and defender distance throughout the game.

After clicking the Go to Whiteboard button, a whiteboard screen opens. Here, users can run simulations such as changing a player's position, speed, and direction, as well as optimizing a team's offense and defense. They can also change formations and calculate contributions for each player.

Users can also select a specific area of the pitch and calculate contributions only for the players within the selected area.

Results
The app launched successfully and was found to be intuitive and easy to use, which quickly led to a collaboration with SuperSport, an official sponsor of the Croatian National League (HNL).
